Very professional, from the time we requested quotes until the build was completed. Communicated effectively, provided suggestions and listened to all our concerns. After several weather delays, they finished in 3.5 days. Clean up was thorough. The team was personable and answered question throughout the build. We are very satisfied with our new deck. We definitely recommend Castlewood for anyone needing their services.

After going through the estimate process my wife and I chose Castlewood Construction to build our dream deck and now that it is a reality man are we glad we did. From our early morning meeting back in late July early August with owner (Danny) to the final hand shake it was a tremendous journey. We presented Danny with our vision that morning and he walked us through what he saw as good and what was not such a good idea. We talked through it and came to a shared vision and shortly after that we were presented with an estimate. After we accepted the estimate Danny set a timeline to start and complete the deck and it was built on time with remarkable craftsmanship. Even as the deck was being built Danny was happy to answer any questions I had and explain any process I didnâ t understand. When the project was completed, I said to Danny, â I am glad we found you and I am glad we hired you to do our deck but even more it has been pleasure getting to know you as family manâ . We are beyond ecstatic that we found and hired Castlewood Construction LLC for our two custom decks. For one, they tore out an old, existing elevated deck and designed/built a beautiful enlarged deck with improved walkways, staircases, and lighting. For the other, they built a beautiful large floating deck over an existing concrete patio. This deck required overcoming the challenges of following the rounded margins of a large part of the concrete patio, and designing/building a connecting tiered walkway from this new deck to the entrance door of the nearby She-shed. Every aspect of the end result for both decks is even better than we could have imagined. This is especially remarkable when you consider that the crew was hampered on nearly every work margin by the proximity of trees and tree roots, shrubs, perennials, retaining walls, electrical lines, and/or the house foundation. Incredibly, there was no damage to our house or the landscaping. They also pointed out problems, e.g., flashing needs, and addressed them within the quoted price. Every aspect of these projects - consultations, design, and communications, were timely, easy to understand, and very helpful. The owner and his crew treated us like family. They are true professionals who obviously take great pride in their work. Without a doubt, Castlewood Construction LLC is the only company we will ever recommend for custom decks!
