"Stephan is very personable and has a good work ethic and customer service ethic. He installed our central air system I am completely happy with it, itâ s clean, cool and performs well in each area of the house- itâ s well balanced. Heâ s very responsive to text messages and phone calls and he does what he says heâ s going to do. He also made recommendations for us to save money and not spend on things that weâ re not needed and found his advice to be very helpful and valuable . Stephan is also just a nice person and pleasant to talk with. I would recommend his work to anybody who wants value for their money and someone who does what they say theyâ re going to do."

"My husband and I recently installed AC in our San Diego house. If youâ re a longtime local, you know how necessary it is these days. We struggled through the last few years with portable units which we installed in all our bedrooms, but they were bulky and loud. About 2 years ago, we started getting quotes. Every quote was between $12,000-$15,000. It was really shocking to learn how expensive air conditioning is. We were later told by a friend that the high cost is partly due to demand. We decided to save up money for it, and continued asking friends and neighbors for referrals. Finally, we were referred to Ulises Castaneda at Heating and Cooling Aid. This is Ulises' own company, and while heâ s small, heâ s extremely professional. He came out and explained why our house was not a one-size fits all solution, and recommended a mini-split system. We live in a canyon, and our house is not on flat ground all around. And the best part was his price was very competitive. We scheduled the job and over the course of 2 days they installed the system. He took care of the permits, and inspections. It was very easy. They also cleaned everything up well, and it was hard to tell they had been here. The system they installed is manufactured by Daikin, and it is unobtrusive, and very quiet. We are extremely happy with the outcome, our sleep has been fantastic, and we can highly recommend Ulises and his team."
